Valuation
What is this redemption actually worth?
The arithmetic on a redemption takes ten seconds. The hard part is the second half of the question — good compared to what?
These tools separate the two. The calculator prices what you got, to the cent, from figures you supply and can check. The comparison against a program's published value is treated as a different claim entirely: it belongs to whoever published it, and it gets their name and their date attached, never ours.
Price any redemption to the cent: cash fare, minus the cash you paid at booking, divided by the points you spent.
Open tool →Points & Miles Valuation ReferenceEvery tracked program with each publisher's valuation shown separately, its as-of date, and the spread between them. 28 programs, 3 named sources, nothing averaged.
Open tool →Award vs Cash CalculatorUse points or pay cash — priced with the miles and card rewards you forgo by redeeming, the term casual comparisons drop.
Open tool →Break-Even Points CalculatorBefore you book: the cash fare a redemption has to beat, worked out separately against every published valuation of your currency.
Open tool →Hotel Award CalculatorPrices a multi-night hotel award stay net of the resort fee some programs still charge on points bookings and the nth-night-free benefit others apply — the two terms a plain per-night division drops.
